Oliver Weinsheimer (Keep It True Festival) posted the following very sad news on his facebook page:
I just learned from Dirk Kennedy, that original HITTMAN bassist Mike Beccel was killed in a car accident today. That is so tragic and our deepest condolences from the whole Keep It True team go out to Dirk and the whole Hittman band and of course Mikes family. We were just in talks of redoing the cancelled Hittman show on KIT for 2015, but now this comes to an end of course. RIP Mike, you gave us two great albums of US Metal. What a sad day....
