STORMSPELL RECORDS is an independent record label specializing in limited 80s classic/heavy/speed/thrash metal re-issues. They posted the following message on fheir facebook page:
ATTENTION bands: We have two open slots for next batch of Jewels of Gwahlur demo series. Tentatively planned for November 25th release date. If interested send links to your tunes (bandcamp, reverbnation, etc. Preferably not myspace) to metal@stormspell.com for our evaluation , please observe the following simple guidelines:
1. You have to be classic 80s heavy/power/speed/occult/doom metal to qualify for the series.
2. Your demo/EP/album has to be at least 4 tracks.
3. You need to be 100% ready to deliver ALL materials for the CD production by the end of October.
Small print: JoG demo series are 6-panel eco-wallet CDs. Each volume is dedicated to one band playing in the vein of the olde 80s spirit. This is an old-school underground barter deal. We press 500 cds and give 100 to the bands as a way of payment. If you are a demo band with a manager, or you expect exclusive deal with royalty cuts and worldwide tour on a demo release (don't laugh, I do get some bands asking for this), you are not for us and your inquiry will be disregarded. I try to respond to everyone, but sometimes I simply do not have the time. If you do not hear from me, that means I'm not interested. Thank you for your understanding in advance. Cheers!
