Xanadu from Poland deliver some really inspired Melodic Prog Metal with some modern touches, a lot of references to Prog Rock and a mysterious atmosphere created by the melodies themselves but also the ultra inspired usage of keyboards. I have discovered even some Space Rock touches to some of their songs and I can assure you that they fit very nicely to their style. You will also be able to hear even some aggressive touches on their music but they are currently used and perfectly balanced with the rest melodic stuff of the album. Speaking about melody I would add some extra point to their great piano and guitar themes. All in all the music of Xanadu managed to spread some very positive energy around, perhaps reading this you would expect a Hypnotic Prog Metal album but no, the band's music carries a groove that would electrify you. I would point Pain Of Salvation (first and middle period) as their main influence. Check them out.
